With a sound meandering through quiet metal and bright acoustic rock, Teiger create a rich and melancholic atmosphere that’s both fragile and occasionally furious. With an intriguing peace treaty between metal, alternative rock and psychedelia, Teiger (pronounced “tiger”) are wilfully hard to pin down. Combining a soft-metal aesthetic with elements of early 70s prog without being indulgent or overblown, the trio’s ethereal, shadowy sound is tinged with playful ferocity.
